The concept of Probability was created by two mathematicians from France in the 16th century. Both of them are responsible for creating the basics of Probability. The concept was created by another mathematician Laplace in the 18th century. The events in the real world can not be predicted.By defining the probability of the event occurring we attempt to take an intelligent guess.

It is beneficial for students to understand Probability as it will be applied in their career in the future when they work for corporate or government agencies.Business decisions will be made using the probability in those organizations. It's always a good idea to make decisions based on the mathematical formula rather than experience or chance.Surprises and unpredictable outcomes are part of the events that happen in the world.Multiple types of outcomes could come from the event.

The most likely outcome can be determined by the probability. The result of the process can be defined if it is already known. The experiment is called a Deterministic Experiment if one can predict the outcome of the experiment in advance.Random experiment is also called a non-deterministic experiment. We can predict which outcomes will occur in a random experiment.

Sample space is the collection of all the possible outcomes when there is a random event. There are two types of sample points in a sample space a Countable number and an Uncountable number. The number of sample points cannot be divided into a subcategory. There are either a finite number of sample points or an infinite number of sample points. The first thing we need to know in Probability is the definition of probability.

The sample space is marked by S.The number of elements in sample space is meaningless. The sample space is called Head Tail when a coin is thrown. There are two elements in the sample space. The sample space is found when two coins are thrown at the same time.

When 3 coins are thrown at the same time the sample space is HHH.The sample space contains 8 elements. Two coins are the same as one coin.We shouldn't get confused with the statements. One coin tossed three times is also called one coin tossed three times.

                      The sample space is 1 2 3 4 6 when a die is thrown.Six is the number of sample space.The sample space is 11 12 13 14 15 16 21 22 23 24 25 26 31 32 33 34 35 36 41 42 43 44 45 46 51 52 53.The sample space has six elements.2n is the formula to find the number of sample spaces.

The sample space size is four if we put the n as 2.The sample space size is 8 if we put the n as 3 or 4.6n is the formula to find the number of sample spaces in dies. The sample space size is 6 if we put n2.The sample space size is 36 if the n is 2.
