The initial idea of Probability was created in the 16th century by two mathematicians from France. They are both responsible for the creation of the basics of Probability. The concept was further developed by another mathematician Laplace in the 18th century.Predicting many of the events in the real world is difficult. We try to make an intelligent guess by defining the probability of the event.

It's beneficial for students to understand the concepts of Probability as it will be applied in their career in the future when they work for corporate or government agencies. The probability will be used in making business decisions. It is always a good idea to use a mathematical formula to make decisions instead of relying on chance. There are a lot of surprises and unpredictable outcomes in the events that happen around us.There could be multiple outcomes for an event.

The most likely outcome is determined using the probability. An experiment is when the result of a process can be defined. If one can predict the outcome of the experiment in advance it is called a Deterministic Experiment.Random experiment is also known as Non-Deterministic experiment. We know what the outcomes of a random experiment will be.

Sample space is the collection of all the possible outcomes when there are multiple possibilities in a random event.A countable number of sample points and uncountable number of sample points are the two types of sample points. The number of sample points can't be further divided. The countable number of sample points can be classified as finite or infinite. The definition of probability is the first thing we need to know.

The sample space is marked by the letter S.The number of elements in the sample space is meaningless. When a coin is thrown the sample space is called Head Tail. Two elements are in the sample space. When two coins are thrown at the same time there is a sample space.

When 3 coins are thrown at the same time there is a sample space.8 elements are in the sample space. Two coins are the same as one coin tossed twice. We shouldn't get confused by these statements. One coin thrown three times is called one coin tossed three times.

                      Sampling space is 1 2 3 4 5 6 when a die is thrown.The number of space is 6.When two dies are thrown the sample space is 11 12 13 14 15 16 21 22 23 24 25 26 31 32 33 34 35 36 41 42 43 44 45 46 51 52 53.6 is the number of elements in the sample space.The number of sample spaces in coins is calculated using 2n.

The sample space size is 4 if we place the n as 2.The sample space size is 16 if we put the n as 3 or 4.It takes 6n to find the number of sample spaces. The sample space size is 6The sample space size is 36 if we put the n as two.
