The concept of Probability was formed by two mathematicians from France in the 16th century. Both of them have a part in creating the basics of Probability. The concept was further extended by another mathematician Laplace who in the 18th century had created the Bayesian concept.Predicting many of the events in the real world can be difficult. We attempt to take an intelligent guess as to the probability of the event happening.

It is beneficial for students to understand the concepts of Probability as it will be applied in their career in the future. The probability can be used to make business decisions. It is always a good idea to make decisions based on the mathematical formula and not on chance. There are lots of surprises in the events that happen around us.There could be a variety of outcomes for an event.

The probability is used in determining the most likely outcome. If the process can be defined and the result is known then it's called an experiment. The experiment is called a Deterministic Experiment if one can in advance predict the outcome.Random experiment is also known as Non-Deterministic experimentWe know the possible outcomes of a random experiment but we can predict which of them will happen.

The sample space is the collection of all the possible outcomes in a random event. There are two types of sample points in a sample space a Countable number and an Uncountable number of sample points. You can't divide the number of sample points into a subcategory.A finite number of sample points or an infinite number of sample points can be used to describe the countable number of sample points.First things first we need to know the definition of probability.

Sample space is referred to by S.The number of elements is meaningless. When a coin is thrown the sample space is named Head Tail.2 elements can be found in the sample space. When two coins are thrown at the same time the sample space is divided into five groups.

When 3 coins are thrown at the same time the sample space is HHH HHT HTH HTT TTH TTT THH.There are eight elements in the space. Two coins are tossed the same as one coin being tossed two times. We don't should get confused with these statements. It can be called one coin tossed three times when 3 coins are tossed.

                          Sample space is 1 2 3 4 5 6 when a die is thrownSix is the number of samples.The sample space is 11 13 14 15 16 21 22 23 24 25 26 31 32 33 34 35 36 41 42 43 44 45 46 51 52 53.6 is the number of elements in the space.2n is the formula used to find the number of coins with sample spaces.

the sample space size is 4 if we put the n as 2.The sample space size is 8 if we put n as 3 and 4 if we put n as 4.The 6n formula is used to find the number of sample spaces in dies. The sample space size is 6 if we put n2 in it.The sample space size is 36 if we put the n to 2.
