                            The ratio of change of quantities is called calculus in mathematics.There are two types of Calculus one is pre-calculus.Precalculus is neither static nor dynamic.Pre-calculus deals with slope of a line and speed of an object.The slope of a curve and the rate of speed are related to calculus.

                            Louis Cauchy was a mathematician who contributed to math.He is the first mathematician to create the definition of a limit and the formula for the limits of difference quotients.Karl Weierstrass is a mathematician with a major.Limits differentiability and continuity are some of the concepts a german mathematician gave.Pre-Calculus methods can be used to calculate the tangent.

                            We can use pre-calculus methods to analyse the area of a square but we need to use the calculus methods to analyse the curve under it.Calculus is made up of three stages.The first part of the process is pre-calculus and then the limit process.It is not advisable for students to learn calculus as a set of formulas without knowing the definition.The concept of limit was first developed in the 19th century by Louis and Karl.
