                                                          Calculus is the part of mathematics related to the ratio of change of quantities.There are two types of calculus one is pre-calculus and the other is calculus.There are two types of precalculus static and dynamic.Pre-calculus deals with the slope of a line and the rate of movement of an object.The slope of a curve is related to the rate of speed of an object.

                                                          If you take isThe physicist will attempt to calculate the rate of change in the object's speed.The chemist deals with the change from one substance to another.The biologists deals with the change of the population of a species over time.The economist deals with the rate of change of various things over time.

                                                          It is important for students to learn calculus as it can be used in any of the professional careers they would be taking over in their life.There were two people who introduced the calculus at the same time one from England and the other from Germany.After becoming an expert in mathematics Newton spent his time inventing new concepts relating to the rate of change.Calculus was born as a result of this.There is a debate about who was the first to discover calculus.

                                                          Louis Louis Cauchy was a major mathematician.He created the formula for the limits of difference quotients and was the first mathematician to do so.Another mathematician who contributed is Karl Weierstrass.The concepts of limits differentiability and continuity were given to him by a german mathematician.The tangent to a circle can be calculated using pre-calculus methods.

                                                          We can use pre-calculus methods to analyse the area of a square but we need to use the calculus methods to analyse the curve.The three stages of Calculus are shown in theThe first part is pre-calculus the second part is the limit process and the third part is the calculus.It's not a good idea for students to learn calculus as a set of formulas without knowing the definition.The concept of limit was created in the 19th century by Louis and Karl despite the fact that calculus has been around for 1000s of years.
