Calculating the ratio of change of quantities is called calculus. There are two types of Calculus one pre-calculus and the other.Precalculus is not dynamic.Pre-calculus deals with the slope of the line and the rate of speed of a moving object. The slope of a curve and the rate of speed of an object are dealt with by math.

If you take is isThe physicist attempts to calculate the rate of change in the object'svelocity. The rate of change between a substance and another substance is dealt with by a chemist. The biologist deals with the rate of change in the population of a species. The rate of change of the share price economic index and other indicators is dealt with by an economist.

In any of the professional careers that the students would be taking over in their life learning calculus is very important.Around the same time Sir IsaacNewton from England and Gottfried Leibnitz from Germany introduced the calculus. After becoming an expert in mathematics Newton spent his time inventing new concepts related to the rate of change that is credited with creating the differential calculus. The birth of Calculus has been attributed to this. There is a dispute about who was first to discover math.

He is one of the major mathematicians who contributed to the math.He created the formula for the limits of difference quotients the definition of a limit and was the first mathematician to do so.Karl Weierstrass who is a major mathematician contributed to Calculus.Limits differentiability and continuity are some of the concepts he gave as a mathematician.Pre-calculus methods can be used to find the tangent to the circle.

We can use pre-calculus methods to analyse the area of a square but we have to use the method to analyse the curve. The three stages of calculus are shown in theBCThe first thing is the pre-calculus and then the limit process and finally the calculus. It is not a good idea for students to learn a set of formulas unless they know the definition. The concept of limit was developed by Louis and Karl during the 19th century despite the fact that calculus is around for 1000s of years.
