calculus is a part of mathematics that deals with the ratio of change of quantitiesThere is one kind of pre-calculus and the other kind of calculus. There is mostly static precalculus. The slope of a line and the rate of speed of an object are pre-calculus topics. The slope of a curve and the rate of speed of a changing object are dealt with in math.

If you take asThe physicist has to calculate the rate of change in the object's speed. The rate of change from one substance to another is the subject of a chemist's work. The rate of change of the population of a species is dealt with by the biologist. The economist deals with the rate of change of the share price over a period of time

It is important for students to learn calculus as it is applicable to any of the professional careers they would be taking over in their lives. The calculus was introduced in England and Germany by a couple of people. After becoming an expert in mathematics Newton spent his time inventing new concepts related to the rate of change that earned him the credit for creating the differential calculus. This is the cause of Calculus' birth. There's a dispute about who first discovered math.

He is one of the major mathematicians. He is the first mathematician to create a formula for limits of difference quotients and a definition of a limit.Karl Weierstrass a mathematician contributed to calculus. He gave the idea of limits differentiability and continuity.Pre-calculus methods can be used to calculate the edge to the circle.

Pre-calculus methods can be used to analyse the area of a square but in order to analyse the area under a curve we need to use the calculus methods. The three stages of calculus are shown in the hasThe first part is pre-calculus the second part is the limit process and the third part is calculus. It's not advisable for students to learn a set of formulas if they don't know the definition of what they're learning. The concept of limit was developed by Louis and Karl in the 19th century despite the fact that calculus is around for 1000s of years.
