Calculus is the part of mathematics that deals with change of quantity. There is pre-calculus and there is calculus.Precalculus is static and calculus is constantly changing.Pre-calculus deals with both the slope of a line and the rate of speed of an object. The slope of a curve is dealt with in calculus.

If you take canThe physicist will try to calculate the rate of change in velocity by dealing with the object's velocities. The chemist knows the rate of change between substances. The rate of population change for a species is dealt with by the Biologist. The economist deals with the rate of change of the share price over time

It's important for students to learn calculus as it's applicable in any of the professional careers they'll be taking over in their lives.Around the same time as Sir IsaacNewton from England Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz from Germany introduced the calculus. After becoming an expert in mathematics Newton spent his time inventing new concepts related to the rate of change and the credit for the differential calculus goes to him.The birth of Calculus can be connected to this. There is a dispute over who discovered the earliest form of math.

One of the major mathematicians of the 20th century is Louis Gauchy. He is the first to create a formula for the limits of difference quotients.Karl Weierstrass is a mathematician who has contributed to mathematics.Limits differentiability and continuity are some of the concepts that he gave to the German mathematician.Pre-calculus methods can be used to determine the tangent.

We can use pre-calculus methods to analyse the area of a square but we need to use thecalculus method to analyse the curve. The three stages of Calculus are shown in the wasThe first part is pre-calculus followed by the limit process and the last part is calculus. It is not advisable for students to learn how to use a set of formulas without knowing the definition. The concept of limit was developed by Louis and Karl during the 19th century despite the existence of calculus for 1000s of years.
