Calculus is the part of mathematics that deals with changes in quantities. There are two types of mathematics one pre-calculus and the other calculus. Both precalculus and calculus is static.Pre-calculus deals with slope of line and speed of objectThere is a relationship between the slope of a curve and the rate of speed of an object.

If you take willThe physicist deals with the velocity of the object and will try to calculate the rate of change. The rate of change between a substance and another substance is dealt with by the chemist. The biologists deals with the change of the population rate of a species over time. The economist deals with the rate of change of many things over time.

It's important for students to learn calculus as it's applicable in any of the professional careers they will be taking over in their life. The calculus was introduced in England and Germany by two different people. After becoming an expert in mathematics Newton spent his time inventing new concepts related to the rate of change and created the differential calculus. The birth of calculus was caused by this. There is a dispute about who was the first to discover it.

Louis Louis Cauchy was a mathematician. He was the first mathematician to create a formula for determining the limits of difference quotients.Karl Weierstrass is a mathematician who contributes to calculus. He is a german mathematician who gave concepts of limits differentiability and continuity.Pre-calculus methods can be used to calculate the turn to a circle.

We can use pre-calculus methods to analyse the area of a square but we need to use the calculus methods to analyse under a curve. The three stages of Calculus are shown in the isThe first thing is pre-calculus followed by the limit process and finally the calculus.Students should not learn a set of formulas without knowing the definition. The idea of limit was created in the 19th century by Louis and Karl despite the fact that calculus has been around for 1000s of years.
