Calculus deals with the ratio of change of quantitiesPre-Calculus is one of the two types of calculus. Both precalculus and Calculus are static.Pre-calculus deals with the slope of a line as well as the rate of speed of an object. The slope of a curve and the rate of speed of an object are dealt with in Calculus.

If you take isThe physicist will try to calculate the rate of change in the object'svelocityThe rate of change from substance to substance is dealt with by the chemist. The Biologist deals with the change of the population of a species over a period of time. The economist deals with the rate of change of the economy and share price.

Due to its applicability in any of the professional careers they would be taking over in their life learning calculus is important for students.Theculus was introduced by two people around the same time. After becoming an expert in mathematics Newton spent his time inventing new concepts related to the rate of change which earned him the credit for the differential calculus. This leads to the creation of Calculus. There is a dispute over who first discovered something.

One of the major mathematicians who contributed to calculus is Louis Cauchy. He created the formula for the limits of difference quotients and the definition of a limit.Karl Weierstrass is a major mathematician in the field.Limits differentiability and continuity are some of the concepts that the german mathematician gave.Pre-calculus methods are used to calculate the angle to a circle.

We can use pre-calculus methods to analyse the area of a square but we need to use the calculus method to analyse the curve. The three stages of calculus are shown in theThe first part is pre-calculus and the second part is the limit process and the third part is the calculus.Without knowing the definition it's not advisable for students to learn a set of formulas. The concept of limit has only been created by Louis and Karl during the 19th century.
